We came from Dublin, Ireland and it was our first time stay at Lara World Hotel. Compared to other hotels we have stayed previously, it’s a small one, but it’s a 3 star hotel so we were prepared for a humble stay this year, hence the property is still in its process of renovation, so I am sure after a short while it will be even better. At first we were given a room with a french balcony, personally I am not a fan of them, so I have requested if they could change to another room with a proper balcony, and their nice manager Sinan has provided us with another room the next morning, which changed the whole thing. The room was comfy and had a fridge, locker, and kettle which were very handy to have. The Hotel has a great location, it’s just 5-7min walk to the beach with lots of shops nearby such as Sok, BIM, A101,Migros, and change office UPT(across migros). The hotel has a nice swimming pool, and on our second day we have met two sweet teenage girls Isil and Dila, they have adored my son very much and treated him always just as their little brother. My little 4 y o loved them too, and every time we would come to the pool or to the restaurant, the first thing he would ask:”mummy, where are MY girls:)?” We got very close and spent almost every day together, they were absolutely our favourite ones! Isil’s mum, Nilgun is also a very pleasant and elegant lady, overall the owner has a very decent family! The restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks, we never felt hungry and drinks were unlimited. The staff were amazing, always so helpful and polite. They were even always open to fulfil any additional requests outside restaurants opening hours, which I really appreciated. Primarily I have booked for 9 nights, but we ended up extending our stay for another 11 days, where my mum has joined us too. When my mum has arrived, the next day Sinanbey has arranged a hamam scrubbing procedure for my mum, and the lady Gulsana has done an excellent job!

staff are friendly and helpful. Location is 50 minute bus ride or about 50 stops to town centre or historic old town. There are many atm's or bankamatics to use Turkish word . Best beach is the free public beach 15 minute walk. Buses to town centre are close by numbers KL08 , VL13 TC93 and TC94 will cost you 4 turkish lirs every time you change bus you can travel a long way for 4 lira if you need to KonyaltI the aquarium the mountain lift and other places. without a car other places like Kemer Manavgat etc may be a little difficult to achieve in on day. The transport app 'movit' works in Antalya. English is spoken to various levels of profiency by many people, but sometimes you may encounter a little difficulty in communicating. But the locals will still try their best to help and shout out English to attract English speakers nearby. To save money on the buses because your liras can quickly disappear is use a transport app or google maps, and select where possible a route with no changes which happens often if you are prepared to plan your bus trips an hour later. means a long day trip will cost only 4 lira out and 4 lira back = less than a £1.00 at current exchange rates. Do not change money back home but do it in Turkey there are money exchanges everywhere you get much more money in local currncy for your bucks pounds or dollars. You can also pay in pound sterling, euros or dollars in many outlets = the Turkish term. but remember the hotel prices are often quoted in euros so don't calculate from lira back to your own currency but read what the booking says. If you want to be adventurous and go further afield bu coach you have to get to the Ottogari cntrel bus/coac deport and buy or prebooked a ticket for places like Isparta etc. You can order tours to many places nearby. if you prefer group tours. The Ottogari is an hours bus ride away.

- Staff is brilliant, very approachable, always ready to help you, they were very flexible - we extended our stay to 2 days at the last minute. - Big comfortable beds, high ceilings, fast and stable wifi, although it depends on the room location in the hotel - ours was at the 1st floor. - Nice breakfasts albeit being frequently repetitive. - Separate swimming pool for children. - Close to public beaches, local restaurants and stores. - There is a bus stop right around the corner, from where you can get to the city centre in 20-30 minutes.

Nice hotel, with pool, spa (really recommend!), hair dressing service (also really good!). Got a room with pool view, which is pleasant but can be a bit noisy. Free upgrade for a room with balcony, which was sweet. Loved the breakfast. Serve free tea and bottled water all day. Beach is 5-7min walk away. Has all amenities, bring food and drinks for extra cost. From 7pm turn into restaurant, had excellent cuisine. Great staff, made my stay more fun experience. Shout out to Sinan bey and Karina, thanks for everything!

Irina

I think I got the best room. Upper floor, corner, view of pool and side street, balcony, many windows, sunset rays. Staffs were kind. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. Near the beach, restaurants, amenities, bus- stop. They have an area at Amoor Beach where you could lay for free. Just collect your coupon and towel at the reception.
